Sn3 Scale - Ridgway Depot in Sn3.....bmw-120 S

The model is based on the prototype as it existed in the 30's up through abandonment. Much of the original building still exists in Ridgway today though most of the baggage end of the building has been removed. The depot has also been moved from it's original site.

The kit is composed of laser cut components and white metal chimney's. The kit also includes decal's for lettering and wood signs to mount them on. The original building apparently sat on a concrete slab that included the platforms as all of the photos we looked gave the impression that the platform had always been concrete. For reference I suggest looking at  "The RGS Story" by McCoy and Collman published by Sundance Pub., any of Richard Dormans books, "Silver San Juan" and any of a variety of books published on Colorado railroads. Footprint is 8" by 24" overall.
